Art Studio

Warren Bruns

I was born in British Columbia Canada and have been creating artwork for over 30 years. It started with a pencil and paper, and moved on to computers, color and paints. I grew up in Kelowna before settling in the Creston Valley in 1993.  I worked as a computer tech, network administrator and computer instructor for 10 years. Eventually I decided to give myself permission to follow my passion for graphic design and so I went back to school, attending Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design and British Columbia Institute of Technology in Vancouver.

When I returned to Creston, I was fortunate to find graphic design work at Imagine Ink (www.imagineink.ca). This is a small print shop owned and operated by another talented artist, Brandy Dyer.

I'm also an active member of a local band (www.fatcharlie.ca), singing and playing guitar on stage and in the music studio. Occasionally you may also find me on stage at various local theatre productions or providing voice talent for local radio station commercials.

When not involved with making some mess in a storm of creative energy, I enjoy riding my motorcylce, cooking for the amazing, creative and lovely lady in my life, and spending time with my two orange indoor cats.

Thanks for stopping by my site, and showing your support for the arts.

Cheers,
Warren
